They then check for possible melds (sets of three or four cards of the same rank, or runs of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit) and can lay them down if they choose. The turn ends with the player discarding a card.

Winning the Game: There are several ways to win in Tongits:

Tongits: If a player discards their last card, they win by "Tongits."
Draw: If the draw pile is exhausted, players compare their hands. The player with the lowest hand value wins.
Fight: If a player calls "draw," others can challenge by revealing their hands. The player with the lowest hand value wins the round.

Burn: If a player cannot make a valid move, they "burn" and lose the round.
