도전! 한글왕: 초성 퀴즈·낱말 퍼즐

What is 'ㄱㅅㅊ'?

The thrill of figuring out the answer just by looking at the initial consonants! "Challenge! Hangeul King" is a game that brings together four different Hangeul games enjoyed in our native language.

■ Initial Consonant Quiz
Try to guess questions on twelve different topics—movies, dramas, songs, food, animals, proverbs, four-character idioms, countries, great figures, sports, famous places, and fairy tales—by looking only at the initial consonants. If you get stuck, hints such as years, people, or plot summaries will unlock one by one.

■ Initial Consonant Game
Try to write as many two-character words as possible that match the given initial consonants, like 'ㄱㅂ', within 60 seconds. Bag, Gimbap, Study... The meanings of the words you guess correctly will also be revealed. Only native words are accepted, excluding loanwords!

■ Word Puzzle
Complete words by filling in the letters on the board in the crisscrossing squares. As you advance through the stages, the number of words increases, and the number of letters visible in advance decreases.

■ Word Search

Find the words hidden within the letter board by looking at the list of initial consonants and drawing lines to trace them. There are words hidden horizontally, vertically, diagonally, and even upside down.

■ Collect Coins to Unlock Hints and Decorate Your Yard

Coins (Nyang) accumulate every time you clear a stage and answer a question correctly. Use coins to unlock hints when you get stuck, and use your collected coins to buy new backgrounds and yard decorations. There are also gifts for your first login of the day and for leveling up.

■ From Young Student to Hangeul King

Experience points accumulate as you clear stages and answer questions correctly, allowing your rank to rise. From a young student at the Seodang to a scholar, a top scholar, a Grand Academician, and finally, the Hangeul King! The stages continue endlessly even after becoming the Hangeul King.

■ A Friend to Study With and Your Own Yard

Choose a friend to study with, either a girl or a boy. With each level up, you wear new clothes ranging from the Seodang Hanbok to the Seonbi Gat, Eosahwa, and Gonryongpo, and move from a thatched house to a tiled house, Seodang, Yangban house, and palace hall. When you achieve a feat, backgrounds such as the Bamboo Forest, Lakeside Ferry, Plum Blossom Village, Seodang Courtyard, Lotus Pond, Maple Palace, and Snow-Covered Palace are unlocked one by one, along with decorations like the Persimmon Tree, Flower Garden, Jar Stand, and Well Courtyard. You can also use copper coins to purchase backgrounds such as the Green Barley Hill, Seaside Village, Blue Lantern Street, and Fortress Wall Path, as well as courtyard decorations like the Pine Tree, Chicken Family, Puppy, Bench, Blue Lantern, and Totem Pole.

■ Daily Missions · Roulette, My Words
