Foldsbury used to be a town people came to on purpose. Now the square is quiet, and the print shop on the corner, your great-aunt Hazel's for forty years, is yours. She left you a key, a note, and the one machine nobody would buy. Then Ada from the Corner Post knocks with the first order.

Every commission is a small making puzzle. A customer shows you the card, label or invitation they want, and you work out how to make it. Build the paper from colored strips on the loom, then set up your machines so the sheet that comes off the belt matches exactly. Run a proof for free, watch it travel across the shop floor, and see what went right or wrong. There is no clock and no penalty for trying again.
