Aquarium: Grow Fish vs Aliens is the craziest aquarium game ever - tend to your fish and keep them happy and they'll reward you with precious coins and jewels.

Use the money you earn in your aquarium to buy upgrades for your tank or egg parts which hatch lots of different in-tank pets with special powers. These pets can help you feed your fish, collect coins, or even protect against the aliens that will invade your tank and wreak havoc.

Aquarium: Grow Fish vs Aliens features pets, various modes of gameplay, and a type of currency called "shells". Shells are collected as the game progresses, and they can be used to buy bonus pets or purchase fish featured in The Fish Emporium in Virtual Tank Mode.

Players must manage a tank of guppies and other aquatic creatures, each stage begins with two guppies in the tank or one breeder which creates guppies. Guppies and other fish drop money, which can be collected by the player and used to purchase fish food and upgrades, such as more fish, better fish food, and more powerful lasers to repel alien attackers. Each fish must be kept alive by feeding, whether through fish food bought by the player or through the consumption of other fish in the tank. In addition to feeding fish, the player must protect the fish from aliens that periodically enter the tank and attempt to eat the fish. The aliens must be clicked on repeatedly with the mouse pointer in order to defeat them.

An independent developer's action game, Aquarium puts the player in the troublesome role of an aquarium owner- purchasing various kinds of fish, feeding them properly and on time, and watching them grow. Each fish drops various coins and trinkets; the larger and more picky the fish, the more valuable the trinkets he drops, from simple silver coins to fancy gold chests. Additionally, every once in a while a vicious alien will appear in the aquarium, trying to slaughter hapless fish and ending the whole enterprise prematurely.
Another twist comes in the form of pets. At the end of every level players are awarded a pet, which floats in the aquarium without demanding maintenance and adds some sort of beneficial bonus. Players are limited to using a maximum of three pets at a time.
Managing the various fish, fighting aliens, and making the right choices (from pets to various investments in the aquarium) gives the game a slight strategic appeal. The game also supports additional challenges such as time-trials, and includes a Virtual Aquarium which players can nurture purely for pleasure.

4 modes to improve the game's depth!

ADVENTURE MODE:
The main game mode. In this mode, you progress through multiple tanks and accumulate pets. Adventure Mode is the main mode of game. The goal of this mode is to purchase three egg pieces in every level to unlock a new pet. The player goes through five stages of four main tanks, with each tank having their own unique food chain.

TIME TRIAL MODE:
The goal of this mode is to collect as much money as you can before the time runs out. Time Trial mode is a mode that tests the player's money-making skills over a limited amount of time.

CHALLENGE MODE:
Is for experts. In this mode, you must deal with price inflation and increasingly difficult aliens. Challenge Mode is the most complex mode in the game. The player must fully understand the game in order to beat it.

VIRTUAL TANK MODE:
Virtual Tank is a Virtual Aquarium. Use Shells earned in other modes to purchase items and fish for your tank! Starting off, the player is given 200 shells to spend and can earn more through playing Adventure, Time Trial, and Challenge modes and caring for their fish which also drop shells. Virtual Tank fish can never die, but still require at least three daily feedings to keep their mood content; if their mood drops, they may not produce shells until made happy again. Fish in the Virtual Tank take much longer to mature and grow than in other game modes, roughly a week per growth stage with proper care.
