About Tern: Sales Follow Up
Tern is the companion app for teams that sell over WhatsApp and the phone. It puts the next person to call, the reason to call them and the tasks that are due in your pocket, so the work keeps moving between meetings, on the road and after hours.
Tern works alongside the Tern web app at app.ternup.io. Your workspace, leads, playbooks and settings live there. The phone is where you act on them with one thumb.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• My day: your shift, the time left in it and how you are tracking against your targets, plus the leads Tern ranked for you to call next, each with a one line reason and the next step.
• Call from your own dialler, then log the outcome in two taps: reached, no answer, busy, voicemail or wrong number. Add a note and a next step and Tern creates the follow up task.
• Jump into the WhatsApp chat with one tap, then mark the thread replied so your team and your targets see it.
• Add a text note or a voice note. Voice notes are transcribed for you.
• Move a lead to the next stage of its playbook, take ownership or create a task.
• Clear your tasks: overdue, today and upcoming, with complete and snooze.
• See every thread waiting on you and read the conversation, with photos and voice notes.
• Get a push when a lead replies, when a task is due or when a ticket is assigned to you, and find every notification again in the app.
• Team leads see each agent's shift and attainment for the day.
PRIVACY FIRST
The phone captures nothing. Tern does not read WhatsApp or any other app on your phone, does not listen to notifications, does not read your call log and does not record calls. The app asks for two permissions only: the microphone, for voice notes you choose to record, and notifications.
One thing to know: Tern learns about a new WhatsApp reply from a desktop browser running the Tern Bridge extension. While every desktop is closed, the phone does not know about a new WhatsApp reply.
