About OVERDUB: Rhythm Shooter
OVERDUB is a rhythm shooter where your moves are the music.
Slabs of silence are falling on the stage. Slide anywhere to move, and your instrument fires on the beat. Where you stand decides what you hit and which notes you play, so clearing a song means playing it.
One player is never enough. When a take ends, the tape rewinds and your take plays again as a ghost beside you while you record the next part on another instrument. Drums, bass, keys and lead: build the band one take at a time and hear the whole song come together.
• Four instruments, four ways to play: drums that splash, bass that pierces, keys that spread and rapid-fire lead
• Every take you record becomes a bandmate that replays your exact moves
• Your position is your melody: left is low, right is high, and it always fits the song
• 20 songs across four venues (a basement club, a rainy rooftop, an arena and a stage in orbit), each in its own style: synth pop, funk, chiptune, disco, trap, house, trance and more
• Boss battles that fight back: every side ends on a boss that strikes the stage on the beat, and whoever it catches is knocked out until it wears off
• Special slabs: spinners that only break on zero, exact slabs that need exactly that many hits, and fuses you have to leave alone until they blow
• Gates that power up whoever stands under them when they land
• A new Daily Jam every day, plus endless Free Jam songs
• Clear a song and it plays back as a music video you can save and share
• A producer in the booth talks you through every session
