Etihad Capital is a private joint stock company incorporated under Law No. 8 of 1984 and operated under a trade license issued by the Abu Dhabi municipality and a license issued by the Central Bank of the UAE in accordance with Union Law No. 10, as amended. The company’s paid up capital amounted to AED 50Mn as of September 2016 spread across 50 million shares with a par value of AED 1; with NAEEM Holding’s current direct and indirect stake totaling 49% .
Etihad Capital’s principle activities are investment management and investment consultancy services, with investment banking services covering mergers & acquisitions, financial advisory service and capital market services. Its main focus is in the UAE. Going forward, the company plans to grow its income from investment management, performance fees and investment banking fees via tapping different geographic markets in the MENA Region.
