Words from Words is a classic game where you try to create as many short words as possible from the letters of a single long word.
"MERCY" includes crowbar, sieve, style, thymol, and two dozen other words, for a total of 26. "RESEARCH" has 148 of them. There are also 148 levels, from "pharmacy" with seven words to the longest.
HOW TO PLAY
Click the letters to create a word and check. A word from the dictionary is your score. Answers are grouped by length, so you can always see how many remain and from how many letters.
POINTS AND STREAKS
A word is worth 10 points plus 5 for each letter beyond the third. Every fifth correct word in a row doubles the reward—a long streak is worth much more than the same words in a random order. Only a word not from the dictionary can break a streak; repetition and too short a set won't break it.
HINTS
Stuck? Uncover one letter in the shortest unsolved word for 15 points. The letter is highlighted both in the answer list and in the input field, so you can immediately see where it's placed.

HONESTLY ABOUT PAID ITEMS
All 148 levels are instantly unlocked for free. Nothing is locked, and there are no energy or lives. The "No Ads" subscription removes ads between levels and makes hints unlimited – points are no longer deducted for them. The game works completely without a subscription.
