Energiklassning Villa Lägenhet

Energiklassning Villa Lägenhet is a private educational tool. This app is unofficial. It is not a government service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Boverket (the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning) or the Swedish government. It does not issue and does not replace an official energy performance certificate (energideklaration). Only a certified energy expert can register a declaration in Boverket's register. An estimate in the app is not a decision by Boverket or a municipality, and it is not enough on its own for a sale, a tenancy, a building permit, a green mortgage, or tax.

WHAT THE APP DOES

Estimate the energy class before you hire an expert. Enter heated area (Atemp), construction year, heating system, and annual energy use for a house (villa) or an apartment (lägenhet). The app shows an educational estimate of energy class A0-G and the energiprestandatal, a comparison with the new-build requirement, and example measures.

Boverket compares a building's energy class with the allowed energy performance of a corresponding new building. Class C is that requirement. Class A0 is the class for zero-emission buildings. A0 is not "better than A". The app can only show a candidate. The official class is the one a certified expert registers with Boverket.

Figures in the app are estimates for learning. They can differ from the energy class and energiprestandatal in a registered declaration.

Save scenarios, compare buildings, and share a link. The interface is available in many languages. Plus is an optional one-time purchase that unlocks more than three saved scenarios and comparison of up to three buildings. Payment, receipt, and refunds are handled by the store where the app was downloaded.
