Quran & Decor: Audio & TV Art

Quran & Decor turns your phone, tablet or TV into a framed painting while the Holy Quran is recited. Choose a reciter, dress the wall with a frame and a painting, and let the recitation fill the room. One tap sends it all to your TV.

Listen on your phone
• 172 reciters, each with a complete recitation of all 114 surahs
• Choose the riwayah when a reciter has more than one: Hafs, Warsh, Qalun, Al-Duri, Shu'bah and more
• Search in English or Arabic, with your favorites, recent and most-played reciters on top
• Start from any surah; the recitation continues in Mushaf order and picks up where you left off
• On a tablet, the lists and the Studio sit beside Now Playing

Your TV becomes the frame
• Google Cast: one tap sends the recitation and the framed painting to a Chromecast, Google TV or Android TV
• No Chromecast? Open the player in your TV's browser (the app shows you how) and connect your phone with the code it shows
• Your phone is the remote: play, pause, previous or next surah and seek, in the app, on the lock screen or in the notification, and the TV's volume with the slider or the phone's volume buttons
• Change the painting from your phone: swipe down for another, or choose one in the Studio, and the TV follows
• Share link and QR code: open the same recitation and painting on any screen
• Quran & Decor is also an Android TV and Google TV app: install it on the TV itself and use the remote's D-pad

The wall
• 61 paintings in five collections: Roses & Still Life, Gardens & Courtyards, Blooms, Islamic Art and Andalusia
• 31 frames in three packs: Gilded (Rococo, Baroque, Louis, antique silver), Modern (gallery black, oak, walnut, shadow box) and Middle Eastern (arabesque, Damascene inlay, khatam, zellige, mashrabiya)
• The Studio: pick the frame, the collection and the painting with a live preview, or let them change at every launch, every 5, 10, 15, 30 or 60 minutes, or once a day
• Swipe down for another painting, hold for the Studio
• Full screen turns your phone or tablet into a landscape wall that stays awake
• Download a collection to show its paintings without internet

The ayah line
Turn on Ayah text to follow the line being recited, in sync with the reciter, in the script of the Madinah Mushaf (King Fahd Complex fonts). Place it at the top, middle or bottom, in four sizes. It is off by default and works on the phone, the tablet and the Android TV app, for recitations with verse timing: most Hafs recitations, not Warsh or Qalun.

Renowned reciters
Mishary Alafasy, Mohamed Siddiq Al-Minshawi, Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary, Abdul Basit Abdul Samad, Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, Saud Al-Shuraim, Maher Al-Muaiqly, Saad Al-Ghamdi, Yasser Al-Dosari, Ahmed Al-Ajmy, Nasser Al-Qatami, Idris Abkar and many more.

While you listen
• The recitation keeps playing in the background, with controls on the lock screen and in the notification
• Sleep timer: 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, or the end of the surah
• English and Arabic interface; Android 5.0 and later

No ads, no account
No ads, no sign-in, no subscriptions and no in-app purchases. Nothing to set up beyond a reciter and a look.

Your data
Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports (Firebase) help us improve the app; you can turn them off in the Studio at any time. Casting uses Google Cast, a Google service. The recitation streams over the internet; the paintings you download stay on your device.
