About Sheikh Mahmoud Ali Al-Banna:
Sheikh Mahmoud Ali Al-Banna (1926-1985) was one of the most famous Quran reciters in Egypt and the Islamic world. He was born in the Menoufia Governorate of Egypt and was distinguished by his melodious voice and masterful recitation of the Holy Quran with Tajweed. He worked as a reciter on Egyptian radio and recorded the complete Recited Quran. He is considered one of the leading figures in Quranic recitation in the twentieth century.
