Worry dolls were inspired by an old myth, yet there are many reasons why we continue to use them today!

As it seems, using worry dolls is a method for actually letting go of your worries and talking about your emotions.

Fortunately, studies have shown that talking through your emotions can help to lessen any emotional distress you may be holding inside.

We can reduce the intensity of our emotions by talking about them. We won't be as weighed down by worry or anxiety as if we kept our emotions to ourselves.

Then, let the doll know about your worries and fears. Transfer your tension to them. They were built for this reason! These dolls can be thought of as an alternative journal exercise that can ease anxiety.

The doll will hold on to your worries so that you don't have to.

But remember when you feel there is no reason to be worried anymore, inform the doll so that it no longer needs to worry!
