About Dungeons Of Legend

Four heroes. Twenty dungeons. A magic system that does not hand you a spell list.

Dungeons Of Legend is an offline dungeon crawler RPG where you invent every spell yourself. No stamina bar. No paywall. No internet needed. Just you, a party of four, and a rune system deep enough to keep surprising you.

CRAFT SPELLS NOBODY TOLD YOU ABOUT
Every spell is built from runes. One Director rune decides where it goes - a bolt, an
expanding circle, a piercing beam, a burst around you - and Effecter runes decide what
happens when it lands. Stack Fire twice for a very angry fireball. Freeze a pool and walk
across it. Cast Lightning into water and watch what happens to everything standing in it. Nothing tells you these combinations exist. Finding them is the game.

A PARTY, NOT A HERO
Lead a Runemaster, a Berserker, an Assassin and a Troubadour, and hire a Warden or an
Alchemist when you can afford them. You steer one; the rest follow, fight, and can be pulled back to their feet when they fall - if you can clear the space around them first. Each hero has an ability worth building a fight around, and gear can be handed straight from one to another.

DUNGEONS THAT FIGHT BACK
Foes wake as a pack, spread out to surround you, and press from several sides at once. A raised weapon is a wind-up you can step out of - and a hit landed mid-swing cancels it. Elites carry their own modifiers and their own loot. Sealed vaults open only to the right element. Enemies keep pace as your party grows, so nowhere you return to becomes a walkover.

A RUN YOU CAN LOSE
Health and energy come back on their own, but only so far - the rest costs a potion or a
rest in town. Every hero you pick up off the floor carries the wound for the rest of the
floor. Four difficulty settings, up to Nightmare, where nothing heals on its own at all.

RUNS WORTH REPEATING
- Choose a blessing on arriving in every dungeon, and again halfway through
- Choose your way down between floors: more chests, more foes, or a blessing waiting below
- The Descent: endless floors, one modifier deeper every three, until the party falls
- Six stackable challenges you set yourself, from "no potions" to "half health"
- A daily trial, the same for every player, with a streak worth keeping
- A new themed dungeon every month
- New Game+ once the Citadel falls: keep everything, start again harder

NO ENERGY. NO PAYWALL. NO WIFI.
Play as long as you like, whenever you like. Nothing to wait for and nothing to buy - no
stamina, no timers, no gates, no in-app purchases at all. The whole game works on a plane. Ads exist but stay out of the way: an optional video to revive your party or double your gold, and one occasional full-screen ad between dungeons. Never a banner over the fight.

BUILT FOR A PHONE
Joystick or tap-to-move, whichever suits you. Left-handed layout. Handmade pixel art in a single isometric world with real weather and a sky that follows your own clock. Five save slots and a backup code, so a lost phone is not a lost playthrough.

Inspired by the Amiga classics Legend and Worlds of Legend.

An offline RPG for people who liked being trusted to work things out.
