Why we made it

In Bangladeshi joint families, both husband and wife run the household — but no one knows who paid what or which bills are still outstanding. Confusion, double payments, forgotten bills when you try to reconcile accounts at the end of the month.

Splitwise is not a two-way street — it's not an app that says "You give me 1000 taka." It's an app that says "We're running the household together, let's see if this bill is paid."

Features

- Joint monthly expenses — If either spouse enters, both will see

- Employee salary — Tracking the salary of domestic workers/drivers/other employees

- Loans and debts — Who gave or received how much, all in one place

Zakat calculation — Year-wise zakat calculation and tracking

- Same account, two together — No "you give to me" issue, the family runs jointly

Bangla First

- Entire UI in Bangla

- Bangla numerals optional toggle

- Hind Siliguri + Tiro Bangla fonts

- Bangladeshi payment methods built-in: bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Cash
- Categories built-in: Rural/Rural Electricity Bill (DESCO/PDB), Gas, Zakat, etc.
