WordBaron: Word Board Game

WordBaron is a word board game where a clever placement can change the score. Build interlocking words from your letter tiles, use double and triple bonuses, and challenge the computer or a friend on the same phone or tablet.

Make every letter count
Arrange the seven tiles on your rack, connect your word to the board, and see its score before you play. Aim for bonus squares, keep useful letters for your next turn, or swap tiles when you need a fresh start.

Choose your challenge
• Play the computer at Easy, Normal or Skilled.
• Unlock Hard and Expert opponents with Premium.
• Play with a friend in Pass & Play: two players share one device, with each rack hidden between turns.

Play in your language
Choose from 11 dictionaries: English, Romanian, French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish. Each uses its own letter tiles and point values. The Portuguese dictionary uses Brazilian vocabulary. Menus are available in 12 languages, including Italian; an Italian playing dictionary is not included.

Find your next move
• Preview your score before committing a word.
• Use a hint to reveal a high-scoring move: three hints per game, unlimited with Premium.
• Drag tiles or tap a tile and a square. Shuffle, swap or pass when you need to.
• Review the move history and track your wins, best words and streaks.

A board that feels yours
Choose from seven visual themes, including Wood and Midnight. Enjoy tactile tiles, gentle sounds and haptics, with options to turn them off. Play upright on a phone or use the landscape layout on a tablet.

WordBaron Premium
The free game includes ads. Banners appear above the board, and occasional full-screen ads appear between games. One optional purchase removes ads and unlocks Hard and Expert, all board themes, unlimited hints, smaller 9×9, 11×11 and 13×13 boards, and extra bonus layouts. No subscription.

Usage statistics and crash reporting can be switched off in Settings.
