About Site Diary - Daily Report
Record the working day on site in three minutes, before you leave the gate.
Site Diary opens straight onto today's day sheet for your project. Tap the morning and afternoon weather, copy yesterday's crew and plant in one tap, and add what changed: deliveries, work carried out, visitors and inspections, and health and safety notes. Take photos from the same screen; every photo keeps its date and time.
DELAYS AND ISSUES COME FIRST. Every delay gets a cause (weather, late information, client change, supplier, access or other), the hours lost and a photo. Instructions and variations are logged with who gave them and when. These are the entries a construction daily log is kept for, so they are never buried at the bottom of a form.
SIGN OFF AND LOCK THE DAY. At the end of the shift, sign with your finger. The day sheet is locked and fingerprinted: nothing in it can be edited or deleted afterwards. A correction is added as a dated amendment beneath the original, and both appear on the daily report PDF.
REPORTS
• Daily site diary PDF with photos, delays, sign-off and amendments
• Weekly summary: weather, headcount, person-hours and time lost for each day
• Delay register for any date range, across one or all projects, totalled by cause, with photos
• Labour hours as a CSV spreadsheet
• Punch list with photos, open and closed
WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL. Site Diary runs fully offline. There is no account and no cloud: your records stay on your phone until you share a report or export a backup.
FREE: one project, the last 14 days of history, and watermarked day sheet PDFs. Writing today's diary is always free.
SITE DIARY PRO: unlimited projects and history, branded PDFs with your company name and logo, the weekly summary, the delay register, punch list and labour CSV exports, and full backup and restore. Choose monthly, yearly or a one-time lifetime purchase. If a subscription ends, nothing is deleted: older days are kept and reopen when Pro is back.
For personal record-keeping. Not an official document. Site Diary keeps a dated record; it does not give legal advice and cannot guarantee the outcome of any claim or dispute.
