About Mnemonia: Memory Games
🗺 A COUNTRY MADE OF MEMORY
Mnemonia is a place with eight regions. Each one asks something different of you. A round lasts about a minute, so it fits in a coffee break, and the difficulty follows you: the game starts easy and rises as long as you keep up. There is no difficulty menu to pick from.
🧩 GRID
Tiles light up for a moment, then go dark. Touch exactly those tiles. They grow more numerous while the flash grows shorter, until you have to group them to hold them.
🔁 ECHO
Symbols go by one at a time. For each one, answer a single question: is this the same as two turns ago? Easy to state, hard to hold, because you have to replace the oldest one every single time.
🌊 TIDE
Objects rest on the shore. Touch one you have never touched. Every wave rearranges everything, so remembering where they were is no help at all. You have to remember the objects.
🔔 CHIMES
Watch the sequence, then repeat it. Later on the chimes swap places between the demonstration and your turn, and the order you memorized stops being an order of places.
🏪 FOUR MORE REGIONS
MARKET: objects come two by two, then one returns alone — which one went with it? Later the same object changes partner. TRAIL: a path lights up step by step, and the map turns before your turn. REFLECTION: a set appears, vanishes, comes back. What changed, or did nothing? THE PROMISE: one instruction to honour later, while you are busy sorting.
🏆 A CROSSING EVERY DAY
Three regions, four minutes, the same crossing for every player in the world that day. Keep the streak, watch the month fill up, and share the result without spoiling it for anyone. Each region has its own rank, and each rank can go down again, so it keeps meaning something.
Ninety-two pieces wait in the Cabinet. You bring them back from the regions, one at a time.
