MergeCiv: Merge a Civilization

MergeCiv is a free idle merge game. You merge matching tiles on a grid to grow a civilization from its first wheat field to a citadel, a dragon aerie and a standing army. It plays in short sessions and keeps earning while you are away.

HOW IT PLAYS
• Merge two matching tiles to make a higher tier. Tiles such as wheat fields, forests, mines and workshops produce Gold, Wood, Knowledge, Mana and Metal.
• Hire villagers and managers to work your tiles, buy upgrades, and research new buildings and mechanics.
• Resettle to start a new run with permanent bonuses, then Ascend to unlock rituals and Resonant Crystals that make every later run faster.

WHAT YOU UNLOCK
• Magic: cast spells that reshape the grid, charge crystals, and imbue artifacts.
• The Citadel: an endgame of elite research, milestones and a permanent artifact collection.
• The Bird: a companion that flies feather runs across your map and brings back rewards.
• The Dragon: raise a dragon in the Aerie and fly it in a 3D hunting mode for hoard rewards.
• Conquest: muster an army, march down a 200-stone road of goblin-held country, and lay siege to walled towns for Valor. War progress is permanent.
• The Forge: refine ore into Metal to arm and armor your soldiers.

ALWAYS EARNING
• Offline progress: come back to the resources your empire produced while you were away, plus a speed boost for time away.
• Optional boosts: watch a short rewarded ad, or pick up Royal Shop packs, to multiply production.

YOUR SAVE, EVERYWHERE
• Sign in with Google or Apple to sync your save to the cloud and continue on any phone, tablet or web browser at mergeciv.io.
• Session locking keeps two devices from overwriting each other.
• Mentor Bonds: invite a friend and you both earn rewards as they progress.
