CAT Sweep Timer: Safety

CAT Sweep Timer is the essential tool for professional utility locators and ground workers. Designed to ensure compliance and worker safety, it provides precision timing for Power, Radio, Genny, and All-Scan modes.
CRITICAL WORKER SAFETY FEATURES: This app includes a specialized Automatic Emergency SMS Alert system designed for high-risk environments. In the event of a utility strike (electricity, gas, etc.), the worker can trigger a "Service Strike Report."
Why we use the SEND_SMS Permission: To ensure physical safety, the app uses the SEND_SMS permission to automatically send a background emergency text to a designated supervisor.
•
Background Sending: This is critical so that help is summoned immediately, even if the worker is injured, in shock, or unable to manually operate the phone's messaging app.
•
Emergency Data: The automated SMS includes the exact GPS coordinates of the strike, the equipment ID, and the time of the event.
•
User Control: This feature is explicitly opted-in by the user and only triggers when a strike is manually confirmed within the app.
Key Features:
•
Precision Mode Timing: Enforce 60-second minimum sweeps for industry compliance.
•
Automated GPS Logging: Capture location data every 15 seconds during scans for a full audit trail.
•
Real-time Operator Tips: Built-in guidance for best scanning practices.
•
Comprehensive Log Keeper: Filter and review scan history by date and mode.
•
High-Contrast UI: Designed for maximum visibility in outdoor, high-glare environments.
Protect your team and ensure utility compliance with CAT Sweep Timer—the app that calls for help.
