Cat Countdown

Most countdowns give your date a number. Cat Countdown gives it a cat. Add a birthday, an exam, a trip or a due date, and one of nine cats appears in an illustrated scene made for that kind of day. There are more than 1,000 scenes, and you pay once.

It is a cosy little organiser too: a to-do list sorted by when, notes you can decorate with stickers, a place for the tickets and bookings that go with each day, and alarms that actually ring.

1,000+ CAT SCENES
Nine cats, each with their own scenes for birthdays, exams, trips, anniversaries, due dates, me-time and more, all in one storybook style. More than a thousand illustrated scenes in all, every one of them included.

COUNTDOWNS
Every countdown gets its own illustrated cat scene, like a birthday cake, a stack of exam books or a packed suitcase, above a big, clear number of days left. Your home screen shows them as sticker cards.

A HOME SCREEN THAT FOLLOWS THE WEATHER
Turn on live weather and the background behind your cards matches the sky outside: rain, snow, sunshine, cloud, fog, even a thunderstorm. Or let it follow the season, or drift with starlight, fireflies, embers, hearts, flowers or glitter. The night scenes glow in dark mode.

A CLIPBOARD FOR THE DAY
Attach photos to your notes, and files or links to a countdown: the concert ticket, the hotel reservation, the boarding pass. Everything for the day is in one place when you need it.

TASKS
Your to-dos, sorted into Overdue, Today and This week, with a progress ring for the day and a reminder on any task.

NOTES YOU CAN DECORATE
Checklists, headings and lists, plus stickers from the cats' own art, emoji, and the cats themselves.

ALARMS THAT RING
Set a reminder to ring as an alarm, and your cat rings until you snooze or dismiss it.

KEPT IN HISTORY
When the day arrives, the countdown does not disappear. It moves to History, so you can look back on every day you counted down to.

PAY ONCE, IT'S YOURS
Buy the app once and it's yours, with no ads and no fees to keep using it. All nine cats and all 1,000+ scenes are included. The one extra is optional Cloud Backup, a yearly subscription you can skip.

NINE CATS TO CALL YOUR OWN
Sakura, Nimbus, Luna, Nori, Tangerine, Chai, Coco, Mallow and Yuki each have their own look, breed and colour, and each brings their own art to whatever you are counting down to. Rename any of them.

MORE THAN A NUMBER
Open a countdown and there are three tabs:
• Overview: the date, the days left, and the art
• Checklist: everything to get ready, with a progress ring and a reminder on any item
• Journal: notes for the plans, the lists and the thoughts that go with the day

ON YOUR HOME SCREEN
Add a widget in small, medium or large. It shows what is coming next and rolls the number over at midnight on its own, without you opening the app.

YOURS, AND ON YOUR DEVICE
Your countdowns live on your phone. When you want a copy kept somewhere safe, the optional yearly Cloud Backup subscription backs them up to your own Google Drive. Restoring a backup you already have is always free.

MADE TO FEEL LIKE YOURS
Light and dark themes, and nine languages: English, German, French, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese.

Birthdays, exams, trips, anniversaries, due dates, paydays, the last day of term. Whatever you are counting down to, there is a cat scene for it.
