Verdica™

Airplane mode on.
Verdica still works.

Twelve miles in. Zero bars. A plant you can't name. Verdica is The Off Grid Plant Identifier — the ML and the entire plant library live on your phone. Set it up once over Wi-Fi (about 2.9 GB — a library has weight), then walk past the last bar of signal and scan anyway.

━━━ 🌿 IDENTIFY OFF THE GRID ━━━
✦ Over 93,000 species recognizable on-device. We round that number down.
✦ 97,000+ plant cards in the bundled library
✦ Works in a canyon, a cloud forest, a basement grow room

━━━ ☠️ DANGER, FRONT AND CENTER ━━━
Toxicity on the result card. Not buried in a tab.
✦ Deadly look-alikes, named
✦ Offline pet reference for dogs, cats, and horses: reported symptoms, the parts implicated, the compound involved

━━━ 💊 PLANTS VS. Drug Names━━━
Thousands of documented herb–drug interaction records.
✦ Compound. Enzyme. Mechanism. Source.
✦ Entirely on-device — your drug names are never uploaded

━━━ 🌼 THE GARDEN APOTHECARY ━━━
1,200+ documented folk and traditional preparations, matched against the plants you actually grow.
✦ Ingredients and step-by-step preparation
✦ Drug interactions flagged at the top
Documented, never prescribed.

━━━ 🪴 MY GARDEN ━━━
✦ Your collection — photos, nicknames, notes
✦ Watering reminders
✦ Companion-planting conflicts flagged
✦ Light Scout — your camera becomes a light meter. Seconds. No gadget. No internet.

━━━ 🎯 HONEST BY DESIGN ━━━
Every ID shows its confidence — an exact, calibrated percentage where possible.
When it's unsure, it asks a follow-up question. It never presents a guess as certainty.
Verdica will not "clear" a plant. Unflagged means no record — not harmless. Absence of a warning is never an endorsement.

━━━ ⚠️ IMPORTANT ━━━
Traditional and folk uses are documented, never prescribed. These statements have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
