About Balcony Harvest
Balcony Harvest is a simple plant care app that helps you keep track of the plants on your balcony and around your home. You do not have to remember which plant needs water on which day; the app keeps track for you.
TODAY SCREEN
See what needs your attention at a glance. Plants that are overdue, plants due today and plants you already watered today are listed in separate sections. Mark a plant as watered with one tap, and undo it if you tapped by mistake.
PLANT CATALOG
The app ships with a built-in catalog of balcony and indoor plants: basil, mint, parsley, thyme, rosemary, chives, arugula, strawberry, pepper, cherry tomato, lemon tree, lavender, geranium, petunia, succulent, cactus, aloe vera, pothos, ivy, snake plant, ZZ plant, peace lily, spider plant, orchid, African violet, fern and rubber plant. There are 27 species to choose from.
For every species you get:
- A short description
- Three practical care tips
- A warning note for the most common mistake
- A suggested watering interval
- Light requirement (low / medium / high)
- Difficulty level (easy / medium / hard)
You can search the catalog and narrow the list down with the easy, indoor, balcony and edible filters.
YOUR OWN GARDEN
Add the plants you pick to your garden and give them a name if you like. The garden screen shows all your plants and the next watering date for each of them. On the plant detail screen you can follow the watering history, or remove a plant together with its records.
DAILY REMINDER
The app sends a single short notification at the hour you choose. If you prefer no notifications at all, you can turn them off in settings. The goal is one gentle reminder a day, not constant interruption.

OFFLINE, NO ACCOUNT
No sign up and no login is required. Your plants and watering records are stored on your device, and the app works without an internet connection.
