FundRoll: Club Treasurer Books

FundRoll is the club treasurer's books for an organization with many chapters or branches.
Each chapter treasurer enters dues, income and expenses on a phone. Head office gets the roll-up of every chapter automatically, with no spreadsheets to collect.

■ The monthly chore it removes
· Thirty chapters send thirty spreadsheets, each laid out a little differently
· Someone counts who has not sent theirs yet
· Someone opens every file and copies the totals into a master sheet
· When the numbers do not match, the questions start again
FundRoll was built for the person who does that consolidation.

■ How it works, in three steps
1. The organizer creates the organization and lists its units. Call them chapters, branches, districts, lodges or teams: you choose the word.
2. Send each unit an invite code or link. The treasurer types a name and is in. No account, no password.
3. As treasurers enter their figures, the totals per chapter and per category appear on the organizer's screen.

■ What a chapter treasurer does
· Type the amount, tap a category, done. Date, category, amount and a note, in large text.
· Dues tracker: record each member's dues by name and see who has paid for which month. Several months paid at once go in as one entry.
· At month end, tap Close month to submit the books to head office.
· Share the chapter statement (balance brought forward, income, expenses, closing balance) as a single image in the group chat. It doubles as the treasurer report for the meeting.

■ What the organizer gets
· Closing status: which chapters have closed the month and which have not
· Income, expenses and balance per chapter, plus the grand total
· Totals per category. The organizer sets the categories, so every chapter reports in the same format
· Fiscal-year totals for the annual report
· Excel export of all entries
The same roll-up report also opens in a browser on a PC.

■ Privacy and safety
· Each chapter sees only its own books. No chapter can see another chapter's entries.
· Closing locks the month. Only the organizer can reopen it.
· When a treasurer changes, the records stay with the chapter, so handover is simple.
· FundRoll only records. No money is moved and there is no payment function.

■ iPhone users
Members with an iPhone do not need to install anything. They open the invite link and use FundRoll in the browser. In Safari, choose Add to Home Screen to open it like an app.

■ Cost and ads
FundRoll is free to use. Chapter treasurers see no ads. Only the organizer's screens show a banner and an occasional full-screen ad.
