About Pen Fight: The Desk Game
The desk game from school, settled properly.
Two pens on a desk. You flick yours at theirs. Knock their pen off the edge and
the round is yours — and in a duel, so is their pen. Not a copy, not a point:
the pen leaves their box and lands in yours, the way it went at a real desk.
THREE WAYS TO PLAY
The class ladder — eleven classmates, each with their own pen and their own way
of playing. Chintu flicks before he has decided. Guddi lets you lose to yourself
first. Beat a classmate and their pen is yours. At the end of the bench sits
Shivya with her father's Parker Vector, and taking it makes you champion.
Send a link — the desk opens for a friend. They tap the link, the match starts.
No account, no lobby, no waiting.
Three at a desk — three pens, three chairs, last pen standing. You keep every
pen you knock off, so sitting back and letting the others fight is the losing
move.
EVERY PEN PLAYS DIFFERENTLY
The pens are the game. A Pilot V5 skids further than you asked. A Trimax is
triangular and will not roll. The Megatop carries all its weight in the cap and
never runs straight. The weights and habits come from the real pens, so a pen
you owned at school behaves the way you remember.
THE RULES, SETTLED
A pen is out when its centre crosses the edge of the desk. Half over the edge is
still in, because its centre is still on the desk — that is the argument
everybody had at school, settled.
The opening flick is capped, so nobody wins a round off the serve with one full
swing at a pen that has not moved. Both sides get the same limit.
If one flick puts both pens off, nobody scores and the round is replayed.
Best of five. First to three rounds takes the match, and the winner keeps the
pen the loser staked.
TALK TO THEM
Playing a friend, hold the button to talk and let go to listen. Your voice goes
straight to their phone, never through us.
No sign-in is needed to play.
