BlowDraw Harp Desk

BlowDraw Harp Desk is an offline-first 10-hole Richter harmonica workshop for campfire beginners, school-band recruits, blues-jam newcomers, and folk-club mentors. Land Blow, Draw, and Bend on the correct hole before you fake a campfire tune.

It is not a practice diary, not a DAW, and not a song catalog. A life-size comb is the stage: tap a hole, flip the Blow/Draw rocker, pull the Bend lever, and hear concert pitch while the staff note and tab symbol light together.

Work the comb
Tap any of the 10 holes, choose Blow or Draw, and pull a half or full Bend. Each action sounds concert pitch and lights the matching staff note plus harmonica tab, so the chamber you touched is the note you hear.

Change keys without leaving the desk
A seeded case holds C, G, A, D, F, and Bb plates. Each plate remaps hole notes, cover-plate stamps, and legal bends for that harmonica—the one you will actually pocket.

See legal holes for the position you are in
Overlays highlight 1st-position major, 2nd-position blues, and 3rd-position Dorian without sending you off the comb.

Learn 12 campfire and shuffle licks
Riffs appear in standard harp tab (+4, -4', -5). A bouncing-hole cursor waits on the active chamber so you follow the lick, not a scrolling score.

Echo a phrase, then score it
Call-and-response gym: the desk plays a two-bar phrase, you echo it on the comb, and hole plus timing accuracy score in place.

Find Hole 4 as home base
Inhale and exhale coaching helps absolute beginners so Draw notes do not starve.

Grab the right pocket harmonica
Which-harp chart: pick a guitar-friendly song key and see which harmonica to bring to the jam.

Train the bend until it sits
Bend-depth trainer uses a reed-flex animation and a cents target until the rocker sits in the pocket.

Stay offline, stay honest
The glossary covers Richter tuning, positions, tab marks, and a cautious overblow intro. A daily warmup card arrives from a home-screen widget and a local notification. It is never a streak journal.
