Pomey: Pomodoro Focus Timer

Most Pomodoro apps are a number, a start button and a settings screen. In Pomey there are no buttons at all. There's a piece of fruit, and you turn it.

Put your thumb on it and spin. It clicks past every minute as it goes, the way a wind-up kitchen timer does, until it's set to the time you want. Tap anywhere to start. Tap again to pause, double-tap to reset, hold to skip. A small glass icon answers every touch, so you always know what just happened.

The fruit changes with the theme, and each theme is its own little world in daylight and after dark. A tomato on a checked cloth in Kitchen. Citrus Grove. Forest. Night Market and Frost Night once the lights go down. Each brings its own clicks, its own start chime and its own ring, so switching theme changes how the thing sounds as much as how it looks. All of it answers back through haptics.

Your sessions ripen as you work. Finish a focus block and a fruit fills in; complete a full row and you've earned a long break. It's a quieter way of showing progress than a number going up.

Leave the app and it keeps time. A live countdown sits in your notifications and the ring arrives exactly when it should. Sounds follow your media volume, the ring follows your alarm volume, so it fits whatever you've already set.

Set your own focus and break lengths, sessions per cycle, and auto-start if you'd rather not touch it between blocks. Works sideways, and on tablets.
