About Cookin: Recipe Keeper

You know that recipe video you saved and never found again? That's what Cookin is for.

Cookin is a recipe organizer that takes recipes from wherever you find them (TikTok, websites, cookbooks, screenshots) and turns them into a clean personal cookbook on your phone. Ingredients, steps, times and servings, all in one place, no typing it out by hand.

It can import recipes from pretty much anything:
• Videos shared from TikTok, Instagram or YouTube
• Links to recipe websites (just the recipe, without the life story and the ads)
• The recipe scanner reads cookbook pages, screenshots and handwritten cards
• PDFs, plain text, or a voice memo of you describing the dish

Cooking from it is the nice part. The screen stays on, timers are one tap away inside the steps, and if you're cooking for six instead of four, the amounts adjust themselves.

Your collection stays organized: group recipes into cookbooks, tag and rate them, and search your library, including searches like "chicken without peanuts". Ingredients go to the grocery list in one tap, where duplicates merge and the shopping list sorts itself by aisle. The pantry keeps track of what you already have and warns you before food expires. You can back up and restore the whole library whenever you like.

There's AI in Cookin too, and it runs on your phone rather than on a server somewhere. It can make a recipe healthier, find a substitute for an ingredient you're missing, put together dinner from what's in your pantry, or answer questions about your recipes. Tell it about your allergies and preferences once and it keeps them in mind.

Cookin is free, works offline, and doesn't ask you to create an account. Your recipes stay on your phone unless you export them yourself.

If you've been looking for a recipe keeper, a recipe organizer, or just a home for all the TikTok recipes you keep saving, give Cookin the next one you find. It'll be there when you need it.
