BamBoo: Missed Connections

BamBoo - Real Encounters

You noticed someone.
You wanted to say hello.
But the moment passed.

Maybe you thought there would be another chance.

Maybe you saw them on campus, at a café, or somewhere you go every day.

But you never found the right moment.

What if they noticed you too?

You just never knew.

REAL ENCOUNTERS

BamBoo is a real-world connection app for the people you cross paths with but never get the chance to know.

No endless swiping.
No AI deciding who you should meet.

Just Real Encounters - and a chance to find someone you almost missed.

FIND YOUR MISSED CONNECTION

You don’t have to find someone right away.

Come back later and search based on where and when your paths crossed.

Maybe the moment has passed.

The chance doesn’t have to.

WHAT IF THEY’RE NOT ON BAMBOO YET?

Create a Clue Board post about the person and where you crossed paths, then share it to your social platforms.

Your friends can share it.
Their friends can see it.

And maybe it eventually reaches the person you were hoping to find.

Don’t let a missed moment disappear.

STARTING AT UCLA

BamBoo is starting at UCLA.

Registration is limited to @ucla.edu accounts.

The community is small by design - because the people you discover should be people you could actually encounter.

With BamBoo Plus, you get:

• A longer search window to give your missed connections more time to find you
• More BamBoo features unlocked as the platform grows

One invitation. Lifetime BamBoo Plus. No subscription.

The earlier you join, the more chances you have to find someone you almost missed.

NO AI. NO SWIPING.

BamBoo doesn’t decide who you should meet.

We believe some connections are better when they start with a real moment - not an algorithm.

Sometimes, you’ve already seen the person.

You just never got to know them.

PRIVACY FIRST

Your real-time location is never shown to other users.

BamBoo is designed to help you discover missed connections without exposing your exact whereabouts.

You choose what you share.

------

You noticed them.
They might have noticed you.
You just never knew.
