Gecko Camera Tracker AR

Gecko Camera Tracker AR records a video and tracks the phone's camera in 3D at the same time, so you can put 3D objects into your footage in Blender without tracking it by hand.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Record. Film as normal. The app tracks the camera with ARCore as you go.
2. Send. One zip holds the video, the camera path, the lens and the floor.
3. Import. In Blender, File > Import > Gecko Camera Tracker take. The scene builds itself.

WHAT YOU GET IN BLENDER

CAPTURE THE LIGHT
Turn around once with the guided HDRI capture and the app stitches the light of the place you filmed, with exposures merged. Blender lights your 3D with it.

Scan a room and the add-on builds a rough mesh of it for shadows and reflections.

Tracking, exports and the Blender add-on are free. Pro is one payment, no subscription, and removes the ads.

Needs a phone that supports ARCore (Google Play Services for AR). The add-on is free at akshaycp.com/camera-tracker and works in Blender 4.2 and newer.
