About AcercArte

Point your phone at a painting in the museum and watch it come to life.

AcercArte is an augmented reality experience created for museums. By focusing your camera on a participating artwork, an animation appears on the canvas accompanied by narration: the artist's story, the context of the piece, and details you'd normally miss on a wall label.

It's completely free for visitors. You don't need to create an account or provide personal information: just open the app and point your camera.

How it works:

• Choose the museum you're visiting from the app.

• Point your camera at any participating artwork.

• Watch the animation and listen to the narration with the story behind the piece.

• Save or share your experience with a commemorative card of the artwork.

Designed for small and medium-sized museums that want to modernize the visitor experience without installing expensive hardware or relying on traditional audio guides. Each participating museum can add its own artworks to the catalog with their corresponding narration and animation.

AcercArte is currently available in select pilot museums in the State of Mexico, with plans to add more venues.

Bringing art closer to people, and bringing you closer to art.
