UWorld Player

UWorld Player is a free all-in-one app that brings 16 everyday tools together, built around powerful video and music playback. It's light, fast and ad-free, with no account or sign-up, and can replace many separate apps on your phone.

■ Media gallery
Organizes the photos, videos and music on your phone by folder and album on one screen. Filter by type, preview thumbnails, sort, and tap any item to open the right viewer or player.

■ Video player
Plays virtually every format (mp4, mkv, avi, mov, webm, ts and more) with hardware acceleration. External .srt subtitles, 0.25x-4x speed, brightness/volume gestures, double-tap seeking, frame capture and GIF capture, background playback and resume where you left off. Streams network URLs from a NAS and opens videos shared from other apps.

■ Music player
Shuffle, repeat all and repeat one, background playback, and controls on the lock screen and in notifications.

■ Text-to-speech reader
Reads text and Markdown files aloud with sentence highlighting, auto-scroll, seeking and repeat, and keeps playing in the background.

■ File explorer
Browse the folders you allow, copy, move, rename and multi-select, sort by name, size or date, and open files in the right viewer (video, music, image, PDF, text). Share files to other apps or open files shared from them.

■ NAS files & Google Drive
Connect to your own SMB shared folders or Synology NAS and to your Google Drive to browse and stream.

■ Camera, camcorder & voice recorder
Take photos, scan QR codes and barcodes, record video and record voice memos with a live timer. Recording runs while the app is on screen.

■ Screen recorder
Save your screen as a video with one tap - great for guides and gameplay.

■ Downloader - built-in browser
Browse the web with an address bar and search, and download files that open right in the explorer and viewers.

■ SFTP, remote desktop (VNC) & SSH terminal
Transfer files to and from your servers over SSH, view and control your PC with a VNC client, and run commands in a full terminal with adjustable fonts. Connection details are stored encrypted on your device.

■ Notepad
Quickly jot down ideas, to-dos and short notes.

■ PDF & image editing
View and annotate PDFs with pen and highlighter, open password-protected PDFs, rotate, delete and reorder pages, merge documents and compress file size. Crop, rotate and adjust photos.

Light and dark themes and 10 languages are supported. Nothing you do in the app is sent to our servers - your files stay on your device.
