Alfam

Alfam is a private home for your family.

Build the tree, keep the people.

Alfam turns the relationships you confirm with your relatives into a real
family tree. Not a flat list of contacts, but a tree that shows what each
bond actually is. Full siblings are joined by a double line, half siblings
by a single one, adopted family by a dotted line, step and guardian bonds
by a dashed one. The picture tells the truth about the family, including
the complicated parts.

Relatives without accounts still belong. Add children, elders and those
who have passed as managed members, and they take their place on the tree
alongside everyone else.

A feed that stays in the family.

Share photos, videos and news with the people who should see them. Every
post carries an audience, so you choose between your whole Alfam, your
immediate family, or everyone on the platform. React with Love, Mashallah,
Haha, እሰይ, or send an እልልልል that actually rings out.

Talk properly.

One to one messaging with photos, videos, quoted replies and emoji
reactions. By default only relatives you have confirmed can start a
conversation with you, and you can widen that whenever you like.

Find the family you have not met yet.

Search for members by name or email, send a relationship request, and once
they confirm it your two trees join up. You decide how findable you are.

Your circles and your causes.

Mahibers gather the people who belong to the same circle. Causes let the
family rally around something that matters, whether that is a wedding, a
funeral, a school fee or a hard month.

See where everyone is.

The family map shows which city each relative is currently in, if they
choose to share it. Location is rounded to city level before it ever leaves
the device, so the map shows the city and never the doorstep.

Built for Ethiopian families, open to every family.

Full Amharic support throughout, alongside English.
