Fishing Log Pro - Tides & Moon

Check the tide before you go, and keep the catch when you get back. Fishing Log Pro puts both in one place: high and low tide times, a tide curve you can scrub through, the tide name, moon age, sunrise and sunset — and a log for every trip and every fish, with photos. No account, no sign-in: your trips, photos and spots stay on your phone.

EVERY COAST, TREATED THE SAME
Where an official forecast exists, the app uses it: tide tables from the Japan Meteorological Agency and tide predictions from NOAA. Everywhere else the FES2022 global tide model is bundled with the app and the tide is computed on your phone. That covers 202 countries and territories and more than 12,000 places, so a trip abroad works like a trip at home. Pick a station by country, region and county, or search by place or country; every row shows its source, official or model.

TIDES
• High and low times and heights, the level right now, and how far the tide has run.
• Press or drag the tide curve to read the level at any time of day.
• Tide name (spring, medium, neap), moon age, moonrise and moonset on the same screen.
• Sunrise, sunset and the dawn and dusk windows for your exact position.
• No date limits, and a monthly tide table — the quickest way to find a spring tide that falls on a weekend.
• Downloaded tides stay on the device and model tides need no connection, so it works with no signal.

TRIPS AND CATCHES
• A trip holds the date, place, weather, air and water temperature, wind, pressure, methods, tackle, notes and a rating.
• A catch holds species, size, number, photos and release. Around 110 species are built in, and you can add your own.
• Tide name, tide stage and moon age are filled in automatically from the time and the station.
• Pick a photo and its capture time becomes the draft time of the catch.
• No limit on records — keeping the blank days makes the insights honest.
• Register rods, reels and lures, attach them to a trip, and see which setup is catching.
• A bin for deleted records, CSV export, and a ZIP backup of database and photos, by hand or daily.

MAP, SPOTS AND SHARING
Save the places you fish with a note about parking or footing. Each spot keeps its own record: fish caught, blank rate, best tide name, biggest fish. Any catch can be shared as a single image, with the place name left off by default.

INSIGHTS
Totals, personal bests and the breakdown by month and species are free. Premium adds fish-per-trip by tide name, tide stage, time of day, moon age, pressure, water temperature, weather, spot and method — no invented bite score, only what your records show.

PLEASE NOTE
Model tides are estimates and the error grows in bays, estuaries and harbours. Not for navigation. Tide names follow the lunar calendar, so they can differ by a day from official tables.
