History:
Sieglinde Fitz-Grabher, daughter of the well-known Lustenau dialect poet Hannes Grabher, began standardizing the spelling of the Lustenau dialect and defining the meaning of the words in the 1980s. Together with Walter Baur and a group of interested Lustenau residents, they created a collection of index cards, which Veronika Hofer digitized in 2002 to create the Lustenau dialect file. In 2017, this file was finally implemented as an app with an audio function for listening to Lustenau dialect words and phrases. Matteo Kofler was the originator and responsible for the concept. The app and web development company arkulpa GmbH was responsible for the implementation. Veronika Hofer recorded the words and phrases at the TonZoo recording studio.
