The apps your child loves stay locked until they answer a few quick learning questions. Pass the quiz, unlock playtime — and every unlock becomes a moment of practice.

HOW IT WORKS
• You choose which apps to lock and how much time a passed quiz is worth.
• When your child opens a locked app, Unlokid shows a short quiz first.
• Questions match your child's grade and school curriculum.
• Answer correctly to earn screen time; keep learning to keep playing.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
Unlokid is a parental-control and digital-wellbeing app — not an accessibility tool for people with disabilities. With a parent's explicit in-app consent, Unlokid uses Android's AccessibilityService API to detect when a child opens an app the parent has chosen to lock, so Unlokid can pause that app and show a short learning quiz before playtime continues.

The service reads only which app is in the foreground (app name / package) and whether the child is in Android Settings screens used to uninstall Unlokid or turn the service off, so a parent PIN can be required. It does not read messages, emails, photos, passwords, or the content of other apps. It does not record the screen or audio. Accessibility Service data is not shared with third parties.

You can turn the service off at any time in Android Settings → Accessibility. Quizzes and pairing still work without it; app locking will not.

Quizzes are grounded in real curriculum topics — maths, reading, science and more — and adapt to your child's grade level, so practice reinforces what they learn in class.
