صدور - Sudur

"Rather, it is clear verses in the hearts of those given knowledge." (Quran 29:49)

Sudur (صدور, "hearts") is a companion for memorizing and reviewing the Quran, one ayah at a time.

Your daily lesson in three steps
• Listen: hear the ayah from the reciter you choose.
• Practise: read it word by word, under your breath.
• Recite: say it from memory without looking. The app listens and measures how much you memorized.

Honest grading
Sudur checks which words you recited correctly and which you missed. It does not claim to judge tajweed. If it hears nothing, it gives no score.

The Mushaf
• Madinah Mushaf pages: 15 lines like the printed copy, with surah titles and the Basmala in Mushaf script, and a night mode.
• Tap an ayah for its panel: tafsir, translation, listen, repeat and favourite.
• Go to: type 2:255, a surah name, a page or a juz, or search the Quran text.
• More than twenty reciters, including Alafasy, Al-Sudais, Al-Muaiqly, Al-Husary and Al-Minshawi; download recitations to listen offline.
• Listen & repeat an ayah or a range as many times as you choose, with a pause to repeat after the reciter; it keeps playing with the screen locked.

Memorization and review tools
• Quiz me: which ayah comes next? Or complete the ayah.
• Similar verses: ayat whose wording is alike — browse them and test yourself.
• Hidden practice: hide the Mushaf page and recite it from memory.
• Review on time, a memorization plan and daily portion, khatma, your streak and a weekly report.
• Halaqa: join your teacher's circle or start your own.

Your daily worship
• Prayer times for your city, the adhan in six voices to choose from, reminders before the adhan and for the iqama, and a monthly timetable.
• Qibla direction.
• Athkar from Hisn al-Muslim, duas and a tasbeeh counter.
• Voluntary fasting tracker, Hijri calendar and Islamic occasions.
• Home-screen widgets: prayer times, the next prayer, your daily portion and an ayah of the day.

How to use
A short video for each feature, in the app (More → How to use) and at sudur.app/help.

No sign-up needed
Start right away without an account; your progress is saved. Keep your recovery code or create an email account to restore progress on another device. You can delete your account and all its data from inside the app.

Ads and Sudur+
The app shows a few ads to keep it running, and never in the Mushaf, during recitation or in the athkar. The optional Sudur+ subscription removes ads and unlocks unlimited graded recitation and the full weak-spots list.

In Arabic and English, with light and dark themes.
