ShioCaster Companion

ShioCaster Companion turns your tablet or phone into the control surface for your ShioCaster studio.

Your Mac runs the show. The tablet sits next to you and gives you the faders, so you are not reaching over the keyboard while the microphone is open.

WHAT IT DOES
• Every channel from the desk, in the same order, with the same fader law and the same dB scale.
• Ride faders, mute, solo, cue, and set the fader marks you snap back to.
• Live meters, loudness, dead-air warning and the recording clock.
• Start and stop the recording, drop markers, skip a track, or type a song title the studio could not find.
• Sound pads, reverb and delay sends, panning, and the broadcast limiter.
• Talkback, and the tablet camera as a picture for a remote guest.

HOW IT CONNECTS
It finds your Mac on the local network by itself. You approve the tablet once on the desk and it reconnects on its own after that. Everything stays on your own network.

PRIVACY
No account. No advertising. No analytics. Nothing about your show is collected and nothing leaves your network.

FOURTEEN LANGUAGES
The companion follows the language you chose in the studio, or you pick your own.

YOU NEED SHIOCASTER ON A MAC
This is a remote control, not a studio by itself. It needs ShioCaster running on a Mac on the same network. Without that there is nothing to control.
