HHZ Radio

```
HHZ Radio is the app for Hou Het Zout: true school hip hop, R&B, soul, and everything in between. The station plays day and night, and with this app, you have it in your pocket.
LISTEN LIVE
One tap and the stream starts. You immediately see which show is live and which track is playing,
and it just keeps playing when you put your phone away — on your lock screen, with your headphones, or via Android Auto in the car.
THE SHOWS
• Hou Het Zout — true school hip hop, with Jerome XL & MC 3Man
• Michelle's Midnight Melodies — classic R&B, soul, and urban
• Roots of the Dam — R&B, soul, Caribbean music, and reggae
• Plus the completed series Opgedirkt ReCap 2025 and Totum Takkies
THE ENTIRE ARCHIVE
Hundreds of episodes, available to listen back to whenever you want. Search by title, guest, or artist,
filter by show, mark your favorites with a heart, and download what you want to hear on the go —
downloaded episodes keep playing even without a signal.
SCRATCH ALONG
The record on the player screen is a real turntable. Place your finger on it and scratch along to
what’s playing, just like on a Technics. Let go and it spins up again.
YOUR OWN REQUESTS
Record your request from your phone and send it directly to the studio — who knows, you might hear yourself back on the show. Find the track and listen to a snippet first to make sure you’ve got the right record. Prefer to call? The request line is included too.
NEWS AND VIDEO
The latest hip-hop and R&B news from the editors, a daily dose of hip-hop history, and a video archive featuring rap, DJing, graffiti, and breakdance. NOTIFICATIONS YOU CHOOSE YOURSELF
Turn on per show whether you want a notification when the broadcast starts or when a new episode is available. Or turn them off — the app will continue to work.
WIDGET
Place the widget on your home screen and see immediately what is playing, with the artwork of the show currently running. Play and pause without opening the app.
