Mylekha Kitchen Display is the kitchen-side companion to the Mylekha point-of-sale system. Designed to run on a tablet or display mounted in the kitchen, it gives your kitchen team a live, at-a-glance view of every order — from the moment it's placed to the moment it leaves the pass.

How it works

Orders flow in automatically from the Mylekha POS the instant a table is confirmed. Your team moves each ticket through four clear stages on a Kanban board:

New Orders — tickets that just came in and need to be picked up
Preparing — items actively being cooked
Ready — dishes plated and waiting to be served
Served — completed and delivered to the guest

Live updates — orders appear and update instantly via WebSocket, with no manual refresh required
Audio alerts — an audible sound notifies the kitchen when a new order arrives
Group filtering — filter the board by station or group so each section sees only what's relevant to them
Incoming order queue — a holding area for pending orders that haven't been released yet, giving the kitchen a heads-up before tickets land on the board
Auto-release timer — configurable timer to automatically move held orders onto the board
Responsive layout — adapts to tablet and large-screen displays, with an expandable column view for busy services
Offline resilience — background polling keeps the board in sync even if the WebSocket connection drops momentarily
