About Hoist: Gym Strength Tracker

Log the set. The next load is written before you load the bar.

Hoist keeps every set you lift and turns it into two things: a DOTS strength score that says how strong you are for your bodyweight, with a tier from Beginner to Elite, and, with Pro, the load for your next session, written before you start. You log the working sets, the rest timer runs, and after the session the Hoist Score has moved or it has not.

WHAT IT IS
A log for barbell and dumbbell training, a strength score built on DOTS, and a progression engine that reads your own sets. What it shows is read off your logged sets, and when there is too little data for a number, it says so and leaves the number empty.

THE PARTS
- Train: log sets, reps and weight with your last working weights already in the fields. The rest timer and the plate calculator sit right next to the set.
- Plan: bring your own routines, start from a template, or let the setup write a first program from your lifts, your loads and the days you train.
- Progress: the Hoist Score with its tier, the tier of each core lift against published strength standards, personal records, weekly volume per muscle group and a map of your training days.
- History: every session on a calendar, and your bodyweight over time.
- Buddies: link a friend and compare scores. They see your name, score and tier, never a set.

WHAT IS FREE
Logging, rest timer, plate calculator, the Hoist Score, four routines, one buddy and your whole history. All of that works without paying, and there are no ads anywhere in the app.

HOIST PRO, PAID ONCE
- Work order: the next load and reps for every lift, worked out from your own last sets and shown before you start.
- Stall watch: a lift that has not moved in three tracked weeks gets flagged, with a deload written out.
- Standing: the exact percentile of each lift for your bodyweight and sex, and how far it is from the next tier.
- Balance map: your weekly sets drawn onto a body, muscle by muscle, so you can see which group is getting less work than the rest.
- Plus routines past the fourth and buddies past the first.
Pro is a single purchase, with no subscription behind it. If you run the work orders for 30 days and not one lift has moved, write to us and you get your money back.

PRIVACY
Your sets and your bodyweight stay on this phone. The buddy link is optional and shares your display name, score and tier, nothing else.

Hoist tracks training and shows reference standards. It gives no medical advice. If you are new to lifting or coming back from an injury, have a coach or a doctor look at your plan first.

Your first score is there after the first logged session with a squat, bench or deadlift in it.
