Gatekeep: Private Journal

Gatekeep is a private diary with a lock and a scrapbook journal where every page is yours to arrange. Drop in photos and they land as a collage — taped down, slightly tilted, ready to write on. Add words, stickers, voice notes and videos anywhere on the page.

Private by design
• Lock the app with your fingerprint, face or phone PIN/password. It also keeps your pages out of the recent-apps screen.
• No AI. Not opt-out — there isn't any.
• No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. No feed, no followers, no likes.
• Photos keep their moment, not their place: Gatekeep removes the GPS location from the copies it keeps.
• Works fully offline. Your pages stay on your phone.

Made to be made
• Freeform pages: put anything anywhere, resize and turn it.
• Photos become a collage page in one pick.
• Start from journal prompts and templates — Three good things, My week, Travel day, A recipe to keep, Dear future me and more — or from a blank page.
• 41 hand-drawn stickers, and your own: draw one or cut one from a photo.
• Page themes, washi tape and handwriting fonts.
• Voice notes with a live waveform, right on the page.
• Share a page as an image, only when you choose to.

Remember
• "On this day" brings back what you kept a year ago — and private pages never resurface.
• A gentle daily reminder, if you want one. It never shows what you wrote.
• No streaks. Miss a week and nothing breaks.
• Search everything you've written.
• Make a printable book of your pages.

Yours to keep
• Export everything — readable Markdown, a full copy and your original photos — any time.
• Coming from Day One? Import your JSON export: words, photos, voice notes, tags and dates come along.

A gratitude journal, a travel diary, a dream log, a memory book — or just a place to think. In English, French and Arabic. No account needed.
