Fade — プライバシー重視のメッセンジャー

Fade is a messenger that lets you manage your own privacy.

■ Open with a Passcode
You will be prompted for a passcode every time you open the app. After a certain period of time, it will automatically relock, and its contents will not be visible even on the task switching screen. Biometric authentication is also supported.

■ Messages Delete Automatically
Messages are automatically deleted from both the server and both devices 7 days after creation. You can choose from 24 hours, 3 days, 7 days, or 30 days, and you can also turn it off.
*Screenshots taken by the other party cannot be deleted.

■ Second Passcode (Decoy)
In addition to your real passcode, you can set a passcode to open a dummy conversation screen. There is no difference in the appearance of the screen regardless of which passcode you enter.

■ No Phone Number or Email Address Required
You can start with just a username. Add friends via ID search or QR code.
*Since there is no recovery method, data cannot be recovered if you forget your passcode.

■ For Safe Use
Inappropriate messages and users can be reported and blocked from within the app. We do not tolerate any users engaging in disruptive behavior. You can delete your account at any time.

■ About Ads
The service is free to use. For those who wish to remove ads, we offer a weekly ad-free plan.

■ About Encryption (We'll be honest)
Communication is protected by TLS and encrypted at rest. However, it is not end-to-end encryption, so the administrators can review the content if necessary, such as when responding to reports.
