Credit Khata: Shared Ledger

Credit Khata replaces the paper credit register with a ledger your customers can see.

You write an entry at the counter; your customer sees the same record on their phone. No more month-end arguments about what was taken and paid.

AT THE COUNTER
- Record credit (udhar), payments received and cash sales - cash, bank or wallet
- Add items and quantities from your products, scan a barcode, or just type
- A running balance per customer, credit limits, due dates and promises to pay
- Print receipts on a Bluetooth thermal printer (58 or 80 mm)
- Close the day: count the drawer and see if it is short or over

WORKS WITHOUT SIGNAL
Entries made offline are saved on the phone and sync by themselves when you are back online.

YOUR CUSTOMERS SEE THEIR OWN KHATA
Give a customer a one-time code, or put your QR at the counter so new customers can ask to join. They see their own entries, balance and history with your shop - never another customer's. A whole family can buy on one khata, and every entry says who took it.

ORDERS AND DELIVERY
Customers order from their app or from a public link to your catalog, for pickup or delivery. You set the fee, minimum order, areas and hours. An accepted order becomes a sale; the rider confirms delivery with a code from the customer's app and brings you the cash.

STOCK AND BUYING
- Sizes and colours of one product, each with its own stock
- Batches with expiry dates, and what expires next
- IMEI and serial numbers for phones and electronics
- Barcode labels, purchase orders, stock moves between branches

FREE, PRO AND BUSINESS
The khata is free, and so are products, stock, purchase orders, customer orders and reports. Plans differ in how many money records you write a day - entries, sales, payments, expenses, supplier bills:
- Free: 35 a day
- Pro: 85 a day, plus more branches and staff, unlimited customers, day close, backups, AI, payroll, restaurant mode and trade tools
- Business: everything in Pro, with no daily limit
A customer's payment is never blocked. New shops get a month of Pro free. Pro and Business are Google Play subscriptions; Pro has a free trial. Customers never pay.

YOUR DATA
Your ledger is yours. We do not sell your information and there are no advertising or analytics trackers in the app. Everything travels encrypted. Back up to a file, and delete your account and data any time.

WHAT THIS APP IS NOT
Credit Khata is a bookkeeping tool. It is not a lender, a payment service or a debt collector. It does not lend, hold or move money, or charge interest. Every debt in it is between a shop and its customer, exactly as in a paper register.
