What’s new
Version 6.0.48 · Updated October 3, 2026
Echoes has been completely rebuilt from the ground up. We've spent months rewriting Echoes with a brand new engine — faster, smoother, and built to support everything we've got planned next for location-based audio. This is a fresh foundation, not just a facelift, so please bear with us as we iron out any rough edges. If something's not right, email us via [email protected]. We've improved performance and loading for more complex walks and fixed some UI bugs. Thanks for walking with us.
User reviews
This is so cool. One week in, and I've already got immersive history tour stops ready to go.
Nice idea but very limited content. Giving 5 stars so people download it more. I'll come back in 3 years but at the moment only London, Liverpool and Manchester are really covered. I'll explore contributing later on my desktop.
Love the app it has applications outside of its current use which I intend to try and exploit if i can
After first having problems with the app crashing all the time on one of my walks it now works amazing! The problem was that I used the beta editor. After using the original it worked perfectly!
Market leader in geolocated soundwalks
Now the download issue fixed going to give a 5 star rating. Been using this to share and navigate trail runs while in lock down and not able to go out as a club, and for that alone it's been a sanity saver.
