Floating App Note: Reminders

Floating App Note turns any note into a floating reminder that pops up over the exact app you choose — so you remember the right thing at the right moment, without digging through a to-do list.

Write a sticky note, pick which apps it should float over, and it appears the second you open one of them, then slides out of your way. Perfect for reminders, quick notes, focus nudges, and cutting down mindless screen time.

WHY FLOATING APP NOTE?
Ordinary note apps and reminder apps wait for you to come back to them. Floating App Note comes to you. Your note shows up as a floating overlay on top of the app it belongs to, so the reminder lands when it actually matters — not buried in a list you forgot to open.

KEY FEATURES
• Floating notes & sticky notes that hover over other apps
• App-specific reminders — choose the exact apps each note floats over
• Screen-time nudges — show your open count and time spent inside a note (great for digital wellbeing and reducing phone usage)
• Notification fallback — get the note as a notification when an overlay can't be shown
• Quiet hours & Do Not Disturb — silence notes during focus time, work, or sleep
• Ready-made note examples & one-tap templates to get started fast
• Light, dark, and system themes with custom accent colors
• Fast, clean, distraction-free, offline-first design

GREAT FOR
• Remembering tasks the moment you open a specific app
• Reducing social media overuse and screen time with gentle reminders
• Staying focused while working or studying
• Habit reminders, water reminders, posture and break nudges
• Quick popup notes over messaging, browser, or any app you pick

PRIVACY FIRST
Your notes and settings stay on your device. The app checks which app is in the foreground only on your device to decide when to show a note — that detection never leaves your phone. No sign-in, no account. We use privacy-friendly analytics to improve the app and never include your note content. See our privacy policy for details.

PERMISSIONS, EXPLAINED
• Display over other apps — to draw your floating note on top of chosen apps
• Usage access — to detect the current app locally so the right note appears
• Notifications — to deliver notes when an overlay isn't suitable
• Start at boot — to keep watching for your apps after you restart your phone
• Unrestricted battery (optional) — so the watcher isn't killed in the background
These are explained in detail in the app and in our privacy policy.
