Sheikh Walid Atef is one of the Egyptian reciters who is proficient in memorizing and reciting the Holy Qur’an. He holds licenses in reciting the Holy Qur’an in the ten recitations at the hands of Sheikh Muhammad Abdel Hamid. Sheikh Walid Atef leads the worshipers in Tarawih prayers, Qiyam, and Tahajjud prayers in the month of Ramadan in the mosques of Alexandria, and the entire Qur’an was recorded. According to the narration of Hafs on the authority of Asim, the narration of Warsh on the authority of Nafi’, the narration of Al-Susi, and the narration of Abu Jafar.
