My SMS Gate

My SMS Gate is a full-featured SMS and MMS messenger for your Android phone. Set it as your default messaging app and get conversations, contacts, search, archive, scheduled messages, dual-SIM support and a dark theme, with no ads.

WHY THE APP NEEDS SMS PERMISSIONS

My SMS Gate is built to be your default SMS handler. To show your conversations, receive incoming messages and send your replies, Android requires an app in this role to hold the SMS and MMS permissions. Without them the app cannot work as a messaging app at all.

MESSAGING FEATURES

• SMS and MMS conversations with contacts, search and archive
• Works as the default messaging app on Android
• Dual-SIM: choose which SIM card sends each message
• Delivery status for every message
• Scheduled messages
• Recycle bin for deleted conversations
• Dark theme, no ads

OPTIONAL: YOUR OWN DEVICE, YOUR OWN API

If you run a small business or your own server, you can connect the app to your MySMSGate account and have your own phone send messages for you through a simple REST API — appointment reminders for your clients, order status updates, or alerts from systems you operate yourself.

This part is optional and switched off by default. Nothing is sent or synced until you connect the device yourself, and the app shows you exactly what data is involved before you do. When connected, messages sent and received on the phone are synced to your own MySMSGate account so you can see them on the web. You can disconnect at any time.

Messages are delivered through your own SIM card, at your operator's normal rate.
