The Rothbury Ramble is a short walking trail around the centre of Rothbury, Northumberland visiting 8 historic sites, most of which have links to King Charles and other Royals. Rothbury Parish Council have commissioned the audio trail to celebrate the King's coronation.
The sites each have audio files recorded by locals (first and middle schools, local historic society, locals, military veterans and even a young refugee from the war in Ukraine) and photographs, all triggered by GPS when you approach each site.
The sites are the Jubilee Hall, Pill Box at the bottom of Garleigh Rd, All Saints Church, Site of old Rothbury Castle, Site of the Three Half Moons Pub (and other Rothbury pubs), Armstrong Cross, Donkins Lamp and the War Memorial.
