About Canoe and Kayak Store

Our roots trace back to the year 2000 when Richard (having paddled since he was a child) was offered the chance to buy a canoe business. Loving the industry but not liking the company, he decided to set up his own – opening the shop in Gloucestershire and leading us to where we are today!

Over the years, we’ve worked closely with manufacturers, clubs, schools, universities, centers, the armed forces and coaches to provide great advice and one of the industry’s best ranges of paddling equipment. You’ll find kit from manufacturers like Palm, Peak and NRS to help you make the most of paddling some of the best kayaks, canoes and paddleboards.

We’re all experienced paddlers keen to share our love of paddle sport. If you want some help and guidance on selecting kit, or just need some advice on where to paddle, or who to approach for the best training, then give us a call.
Visit our store and try some of the most popular boats and paddles. We have demonstration stock at our Gloucestershire store. Recreational boats, canoes and touring kayaks can be put through their paces on the Gloucester-Sharpness Canal.
