About Irey Aqua
Irey Aqua is the first mobile application in Tunisia, Africa, and the Arab world dedicated entirely to the smart management of agricultural irrigation. Developed since 2015, it embodies an innovative approach that combines remote sensing, real-time climate data, and agronomic models to optimize water use in agriculture.
Using advanced algorithms, the application calculates crop water needs in real time based on minimal information:
- soil characteristics,
- the type of crop planted,
- precise weather data,
- as well as indicators derived from remote sensing (NDVI, ET, etc.).
This integrated intelligence allows farmers to know how much water to apply, when, and using which irrigation system (sprinkler, drip, deficit irrigation, or full-dose). In addition to irrigation monitoring, Irey Aqua offers:
- interactive mapping to delineate plots,
- crop condition monitoring via NDVI,
- personalized notifications and recommendations,
